An open source web application meant to help manage & create invoices in a simple, straightforward way.

Siwapp 0.3 Released!

Here it is, the last version of siwapp as promised. And we can name it Beta! We have used this version in our company for a while, and I can assure it is completely functional. In fact is our invoice software right now.

You can download it from the home page.

We’ll continue to improve and making things better in next releases, so please give us ideas in our feature requests forum, but remember we are doing an invoice management software, not a CRM :)

A lot of things have changed since the last release: doctrine is now the ORM, you can do now your own templates for printing invoices, available in 14 languages, etc. I hope you’ll find this version valuable.

Enjoy it!

Looking real good guys. All I needed from siwapp was customisable templates and just basic customer info support and now it’s here.

You did an excellent job with this release guys, but why the API has not been created yet ?
Do you know when i can expect to see the API available for my projects?

    Hi
Great application, I use demo hard and its stunning.
I have one question, why you do templates for invoices when You cant change/choose them? Did I miss something?
I would like to choose template when invoice is made or when I can do a invoice series – there is great place to connect template with series of invoices.
Both solutions should work, and I need different templates for invoices ;)
Also I dont complain, but in my type of business I sale repeating products, to non repeating customers. Its good to have customers list, but it will by great to have ajax tooltip with products names. Products can by placed each time in table with price and VAT – this will give full working invoicing script with customer and product database.
Thanks a lot for this application, I will use it daily ;)

Hi, in future versions, we’ll make the option of select templates when you print or download the pdf. And about the products, actually there is an ajax autompletion that search from the products previously entered in older invoices, but actually is only that. Thank you for your support.

I didnt see autocompletion, probably dont use demo as long as should. For me best way with template will by not choose template for PDF or print, but some permanent join template on beggining. I need template when I send email, print, view, do a PDF. I will use different templates to give invoices from one company, but few another sections. I need another logos, language, etc … Try to think about this ;)

Last thing, I cant find font to have Polish fonts in PDF’s. In demo this same problem.

Can’t post comments in the Community forum. It says google discontinued it and no one can add. Are you moving your forum somewhere else?

    Frank.
What do you exactly mean by “adapted the standard products/services feature??” I don’t quite understand you (not to say English is definitely not my mother tongue :-) )

    Totally agree with kwiaty!
I would love to see the following functionalities to be working:
    * selection of template when creating/printing an invoice
    * product list instead of ajax auto-completion
and then I would use this app for my billing needs!!
