Hey there all you lonely people! Looks like siwapp 0.3 is almost out of the oven. All tickets due to the 0.3 version are closed now, and I just spent 8 awful hours resyncing the language files. Nowadays, I can proudly say our existing message files are updated and synced at my very best (which is not very “very”, btw). So if you’re interested in helping out with the translation, please do comment this post, letting me know about your noble purpose, oh great warrior of the open source!. I’ll send you the translation file right away. PS: I’ll update this post as I receive translation updates. PSII: If your mother tongue is english, I would appreciate very much If you had a look at our “messages.en.xml” file (which we have only for reference purposes); I’m spanish and I’m not very proud of my english. Translations work in progress:
- Swedish: Finished!!
- Danish: Finished!!
- Spanish: Finished
- Catalan: Finished!!
- Russian: Finished
- Ukrainian: Finished
- Bulgarian: started
- German: almost Finished
- Portuguese: Finished
- French: Finished!!
- Polish: Finished
- Italian: Finished
- Croatian: started
- Persian: started
- Slovenian: Finished
- Romanian: started
- Albanian: started
- Dutch: Finished

Hey!
I’d be happy to help you out with a Swedish translation.
I can do the Danish translation
Great news ! good chance for next.
A idea of the publication date ?
Torpe. As soon as we have the translations up & running. I guess no more than a few weeks from now.
Hi: I can the Spanish translation.
Ei que bueno que ya casi esté terminado.
Si quieren puedo ayudar con la traducción al Catalán.
Gerard, gracias viejo. Ya nos está ayudando albert.
You should have some kind of deadline for the translations!
Jimmy. I didn’t think about this too much, really. Most of the translations are doing this because I asked to do so, I don’t want to rush them or anything. And in fact the translations pace is doing really well. I think I’ll just write to the translators and discuss it with them.
thank you for the suggestion
Italian language is supported?
Felice.
We have the italian messages file from the older version.
However, the translator that helped us out for the older version’s message must be on vacation, cause he doesn’t get my emails.
So, If you’re willing to help, I’d be more than happy to send you the italian message files for you to update then.
I can translate into Polish.
Buenas para que fecha estaría saliendo la versión 0.3 un saludos excelente trabajo!
Piotr.
Welcome to the team!
I’ve sent you the message files, though your spamfilter is kicking me out. Did you receive it?
jparra
any minute now. some time before september the 1st. probably in a week.
Is version 0.3 already available in the Trunk folder on the trac site?
http://dev.siwapp.org/projects/siwapp/browser/trunk
I don’t need the extra languages and would love to just start testing the next version already!
yes micah.
you can also svn it with
svn co http://svn.siwapp.org/trunk
I would like to make it speak Persian!
let me know how I can send you the translation.
Hello
Any news about release date?
Do you have any news from Piotr about translation in to Polish?
Kwiaty.
Piotr contacted me already. He says polish will be ready by this weekend..
as for the release date, new translators are pouring in every day and that delays the release date, because it looks like the most language support , the better. Anyway we’ll release it -however the translation status will be- before september.
Ok, good to know.
I will wait then.
I look for invoicing software to have possibility to switch templates from several languages (I need sometimes invoices in Polish, sometimes english, etc) and I hope 0.3 could support this via template system.
Good job, thanks a lot knight
kwiaty.
you can download it already. just do a “checkout” from our subversion repository:
http://svn.siwapp.org/trunk
PS: just had a word from piotr. tomorrow we’ll be polish!
Ok, thanks for info. I will do it tomorrow evening to have polish translation. Thanks to You and Piotr
Jzarate
SVN is this same on both adresses?
http://dev.siwapp.org/projects/siwapp/browser/trunk
http://svn.siwapp.org/trunk
I have Slovenian translation for 0.2, can you send me language file for 0.3 and I will update it and send it back as soon as possible.
yes. but if you want to use the svn client, you need to use http://svn.siwapp.org/trunk
both are the same.
I can’t find any contact form to ask this but is there any instruction to update from 0.2 to 0.3?
and Ducht?
Tomm. Nobody has stood up for ducht, You’re more than welcome to give it a try!! :-)
Micah. I’m afraid there is no upgrade from 0.2 to 0.3. We’re still at very early development, and there’s been a huge refactoring at 0.3 (changed from propel to doctrine).
I can review the English translation file.
I try to get trunk as a zip, and use this to install 0.3.
1. going to “/web” is useless, as I want to have it in main directory.
2. I can’t install, have this error: http://invoice.toshcomputers.pl/web/installer.php and cant pass trough. I try to localize manual about this setup but fail.
KWIATY.
it looks like you missed the “vendor/symfony” and “vendor/twig” folders.
how did you get the trunk?? did you do a :
svn co http://svn.siwapp.org/trunk
??
If you goes to the “browse source” section of the siwapp trac, you’ll find that inside the “lib/vendor” directory, there are only references to the external resources “symfony” and “twig”, you need to fetch the directory tree they’re pointing too.
the fastest way is to fetch it via subversion or TortoiseCVS, it will take care of downloading the “external references” of lib/vendor/symfony and lib/vendor/twig, too.
I use http://dev.siwapp.org/projects/siwapp/browser/trunk and Zip function to grab all at once.
When full package avilable for download will by ready in beta?
@KWIATY
I was having the same problem as you but…
I did as jzarte said using the Tortoise SVN which got the external references as well and installation went just fine … going to try it out now …
anyway, the downloadable package will be available before september. I’m just waiting for the persian, bulgarian, croatian and german translations to finish.
either I’ve got the translations or not, the release date will be before september 1.
I’ve tested this app and i really like it. When the products feature gets implemented i’ll use it in a production environment.
Here’s the romanian translation: http://pastebin.com/LnNr2kiL
Keep up the great work.
deseo obtener informacion como descargar el programa para facturacion no me es posible, la descarga help!!!!!!!!!!
Hi!
What about invoice layout? Im looking for a billing software like this, and everything looks nice, the only thing that should be different(in my case) is how the layout on the invoice would be. Is it possible to make it look like this:
https://fakturer.no/fakturaer/pdf/1/1/1/1-11.pdf
?
Nice Work by the way!
CJ.
I’m just guessing here. Have you tried with the templates??? you can define where and what fields are located on your invoice, with the help of a “template language”. looking at the default template should give you a hint. It’s under the “templates” tabs in the “my settings” section.
PS: I see you are from Norway. Any thoughts about giving it a shot with the translation?
Leticia.
Con seguridad habra una version descargable en un archivo .zip y otro .tar.gz antes de septiembre. mientras tanto, tu única opción es descargar la versión de desarrollo a través de nuestro repositorio svn:
http://svn.siwapp.org/trunk
