As people suggested (http://www.siwapp.org/blog/2009/12/new-system-requirements-for-0-3-release/#comment-277) the use of triggers, and the MySQL 5.1.6 or newer as a requirement was a bad idea. Well, today we’ve fixed this. No more specific MySQL version will be needed, and everything about triggers has been deleted.
I think this will ease the installation on many platforms.
Thank you all for your comments and ideas, sometimes we can loose the right path

Boy, this is great news! Thanks guys!
Kudos for this decision! I’ve been visiting your website over the past couple of months to see if Siwapp might be the right solution for my business needs… and I was afraid I’d be excluded from using it on a shared web host… until now! Glad to see you’ve found a path that addresses real-world user needs. I’m still a fan.
Hi Enrique
Any nearer to a launch date for the new version? I am about to add an article to http://gecko-geeks.co.uk/ for my client base to read, would be nice to do that for version .3
Stuart
Hi Stuart, I’m afraid the launch date is not near. We have a lot of work now (work for our customers), and we want to test the 0.3 release exhaustively, using it in our company.
Anyway, stay tuned, and thank you very much for your support.
Any news on the update, I can’t wait to see the client manager and payment integration
