It’s wonderful to see how the community of developers is producing high quality tools that can be used in our projects.
Today I would like to announce the use of Twig, a template system redesigned by Fabien Potencier and based on the original code by Armin Ronacher. It is a robust, fast and flexible system that will make very easy the task of creating templates for invoices and any printable item in the application.
Templates will be stored in the database so you will can edit them directly from the application. We will try to make all the process as easy and flexible as we can.

That’s great news!
love to use it ….
Siwapp is great platform for invoicing
Already looking forward to it!
Thanks!
Great to hear, keep up the good work!
Hi, guys!
Templating system definitively works! We are testing it with the DOMPDF library but it is very hard to design well formed HTML templates that looks good rendered as PDF with that library.
We will include the “default” template working for printing from the browser or as PDF but it will look better if you “print as pdf” with your own Mac, Acrobat, PDF writer… directly from your browser.
The new features will be available progressively in the subversion repository and probably in the next major release.
Remember: this is alpha!
I look forward to the new version….keep up the good work.
i just installed siwapp and finished its installation. however after i’ve finished it, turned blank. i tried the url /var/ww/html/sf_web_dir/index.php, but it’s still a blank page that appears.
thank you for any help.
God bless!.
Hi, raport.
You can write your questions in the user’s google group. You will find some answers too. Don’t forget to give details of your hosting systems.
Thank you!
